Bottle. Slightly unclear golden body with a medium sized white head. Aroma is mild fruity with hint of malt and marmalade. Flavor has a distinct malt base, with moderate fruitiness and bitterness. Medium body and average aftertaste. Nice take on a classic IPA, but not quite there, miss some freshness and more distinct bitterness. Otherwise an easy drinkable, uncomplicated beer that’s probably a god match with food.

Solliveien 230319. Golden color with an off-white head. Aroma is pine, grafruit, caramel. Flavor is pine, grapefruit, citrus zest, fruit, oranges, bread, caramel. Nice beer.

Bottle. It pours a more or less clear body, golden in color, with a small, firm white head. Some curtains left.The aroma is pleasant but rather old-fashioned, which I like, but it's also weak and lacking depth, and that's not equally fine with me. Pine cone, citrus zest and a backdrop of bready malts and caramel. The flavor is pretty much the same, plus it's too low on bitterness, especially if it''s to be judged as an old-fashioned IPA. But hey, it's flawlessly brewed, and that's not valid for all IPA's. It's full-bodied, semi-dry, with a quite soft carbonation and a pleasant bitter, grapefruity, piney and lightly bready and caramel-ish finish. Overall, it needs more punch, else it's a decent specimen. 190221

gyllen brun farge med ok skumtopp. Lukter sitrus, grape. Smaker sitrus søte appelsiner. Bra med humlebitterhet i avslutningen.

0,5 flaske fra polets nettbutikk, hjemme: uklar korngylden med flott skum som varer. Nydelig aroma med tonnevis av mandariner/clemetiner/søte appelsiner. Smaken likeså, og med en solid maltkropp som bærer all denne citrusen uanstrengt, slik at den ikke havner i NEIPA/frokostjuicesegmentet. "En hyllest til den sommerlige skjærgården i Indre Oslofjord" står det på etiketten, men også særdeles velegnet foran peisen når det er minus 8C ute og man lengter etter sol og sommer.
