Bottle backlog March 2018. Clear dark brown, almost black body with a moderate sozed beige head. Nice aroma, dark malt, slightly roasted and lots of smooth dark chocolate. Flavor is also very smooth with mild roasted dark malt, chocolate, mocha and a hint of coffee. Very pleasant for a 4,5% ABV stout.

Black with off white ehad - Good roasted malt aroma - Roasted malt body that has some bitterness and high carbonation - The roasted malt with bitterness goes into the finish - This was nice

Bottle. A dark brown to black colored beer with a dense, tan head. There were signs of gushing when the bottle was opened, and both aroma and flavor indicates something might have happened since it was bottle. Roasted malts, cocoa, some chocolate and coffee, burnt malts and a touch of dark dried fruits and some sourish notes. It's quite effervescent on the palate, medium bodied and mostly on the dry side. Roasted malt, mocha, cocoa and dark bread crust in the flavor, with notes of dark dried fruits. Some sourish notes too. Long, dry and roasted finish with chocolate and cocoa. Quite pleasant this one. 180920

0,33 flaske fra Gulating Stavanger, hjemme mens julebrevene skrives: brunsvart med fint skum som varer. Behagelig og balansert aroma med aske/røyk, røstet malt, noen mørkbrente kaffebøner og kanskje et hint av lakris. Desverre mindre av de samme i smaken, så til sammen utgjør det et minneverdig inntrykk. Tynn munnfølelse og avslutning. Decidedly underwhelming.

Nice fizzy-creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly dry roasted, toast, roasted grain, minerals, grass, paper, bark, weeds, ashes, dark malts, burnt rye bread. Taste is slightly sour-ish roasted, burnt toast, roasted grain, minerals, grass, paper, ashes, burnt rye bread, bark. Medium bitterness, watery and harsh roasted mouthfeel. Meh!
