Draught at Ringnes Brygghus, in cozy company with Snegurochka and The_Cellarer. Poured a clear late straw coloured body, covering white head leaving fair lacing on the glass. Moderately craft malts and herbal hops on the nose. Mainly malt-driven flavoured, hints of bread, joined by moments of noble hops. Mid-dry malty finish with a discreet bitter bite to it. Clean on the swallow. Nice version of the style. (Oslo, 17.08.2024).

Tap@Ringnes brygghus in the excellent company of Rune & The_Cellarer. Golden straw coloured body with small white head. White bread, hay, notes of leaf and pine needles to the nose. Clean and crisp taste of pine, mild malts, some herbs and spices. Lovely carbonation. Lingering and pleasant. Amund knew what he was doing back in 1886

Tap @ the brewpub. Unclear golden body under a fine, lasting white head. Aroma has clean malt, hint of bread, some generic fruitiness and a faint hint of herbs. Taste is really smooth with soft pale malt, mild fruitiness, bread and balanced bitterness. A really well made pilsner.

On tap at the brewpub. A crystal clear golden colored beer with a dense finger-thick white head leaving lacing. The aroma has bready pale malts, hay and a piney, grass and lightly peppery fruityness. It feels a bit low on bitterness I think, guess it's appropriate though, it's medium bodied and semi-dry, with a nice carbonation level. The flavor has grass and pine cones up front, some spiced notes and hay, and a soft bready maltyness in the back. Lasting quite dry finish. A really pleasant pilsner indeed. 190607

26.10.2019, tap @ source:
Nice fizzy-creamy longlasting head, slightly cloudy. Aroma is slightly dry grainy, hay, dried grain, grass, minerals, paper, bark, weeds, flowers, hints of cereal. Taste is dry sour-ish mineraly, hay, weeds, bark, paper, sour grass, dried grain, soil, cardboard, wash cloth. Longlasting harsh bitterness, dry mineraly mouthfeel. Fair enough.
