Bottle from the cidery. Clear reddish golden body with close to no head. Aroma is light apple, red berries, yeast, alcohol and hint of fruit candy. Taste is rather sweet with weak apple flavor, candy syrup, yeast and alcohol. Medium body and same aftertaste ending a bit harsh and boozy. Not very elegant, even if it’s made with pure fruit the taste is a bit candy wise. Perhaps too much sugar. Still drinkable in smaller amounts and at least a bit unusually, a bit like home made fruit wine from the seveties and eighties area.

Nice fizzy shortlasting head, clear reddish color. Aroma is slightly sweet and dry sour-ish boozy, bark, dark berries syrup, booze, minerals, hay, berry skin, soil, oak, grass. Taste is dry sour-ish boozy, bark boozy, grass, minerals, berry skin, hay, weeds, fruit stones, dark berries syrup, thinner. Medium bitterness, boozy and dry sour-ish fruity mouthfeel. KYGG 071120. Deep red color with no head. Aroma is black current, alcohol, apples. Flavor is black current, alcohol, sugar, apples. Interesting cider.

Bottle, 75cl. A still dark red cider. Almost clear. Quite alcoholic aroma, higher alcohols, with berries and a hint of apple. Sort of sweetish. It's full-bodied and warming, sort of sugary, honey-ish. Blackcurrant, sugar, apple notes and alcohol in the flavor. Long berry finish. A bit heavy on the alcohol, but interesting. 200711

750 ml clear screwcap bottle, from the cidery. Apple cider with blackcurrants added, no other additives (except sugar). Produced 2018. ABV is 12%. Beautiful deep red colour, moderate carbonation. Aroma of blackcurrants, hints of decaying fruits and ammonium. Strong and sweet flavour of blackcurrants, some tart apples in the background.
