Superficial festival rating at Brew Festival, Oslo 2022. Friday session. Slightly unclear reddish orange body under a very small, fast disappearing white head. Aroma has cherry, wood and some funk. Taste is sweet and sour dominated cherry, wood, funky with bitter tannins. Balanced body and long lasting slightly more acidic aftertaste.

Bottle, 150cl, at Brew Festival. A lightly unclear red beer with no head. The aroma has loads of cherry, hints of acetone and alcohol, some almond and oak, and a horseblanket and lemon funkyness. It's really tart on the palate, full-bodied and rich in tannins, quite soft, with cherry dominating the flavor. Leathery, barnyard-ish funk, oak, acetone and alcohol hints, and a vague note of almond in the flavor. Some generic berry notes and hints of dried fruit as well. Lasting finish. Sure, a nice one, but too intense for me. 220429
