On tap @ Røør, Oslo. Looks absolutely amazing in the glass, like tomato’s mixed slightly into a blender – no head and lots of tomato parts floating around all over inside the glass. Aroma is wonderful if you love tomatoes and chili, it smells like cold tomato soup with chili. Same goes for flavor, if cold tomato soup with a fair amount of chili/tobacco is your ide of a nice beer this is it. For some mango flavor would be the perfect beer, and for others tomato. At least this one becomes the talk of the week-end for me and my friends. Cheers for the brave.

On tap at Røør. An unclear red beer looking almost like canned crushed tomatoes. Looks flat. A small off-white head on tops confirmes it's not tomatoes though. The aroma is like canned tomatoes just after opening the can, with hints of green chili or bell pepper. Some oxidation and a dead leefs resembling herbal note. It's medium bodied, smooth and flat on the palate. Tomato juice, some chili, canned tomato and a touch of alcohol in the flavor. Some green vegetable too, bell pepper, celery or similar. Lasting tomato driven finish. Sure one of the weirdest beers I've had, not sure if it's a really bad one, but I sure couldn't drink many cl's of this. At least it gave us something to talk about. 220429
