Bottle @ Patricks. Clear, blood red body under a dense, pale pinkish head. Wonderful aroma of fruity cherry with mild acidity. Some hint of funk but mostly rather clean in the nose. Taste is smooth, soft, clean cherry, cherry skin, and mild acidity, just a faint hint of almond and that’s a god thing by me. Fine body and long-lasting aftertaste. A really nice and complex wild beer with acidic cherry flavor without too much almond nor acidity, a fine treat for both cheese and white meat. Tasty and nice.

Bottle, 75cl, at Patricks. A clear looking deep red beer, topped by a minimalistic pinkish head. The aroma is cherry driven, with some notes of cherry pits, a light leathery funk, dusty cellar hints and a touch of alcohol. It's full bodied and lightly warming, with a decent carbonation. Some tannins. Cherry, cherry pits, leather, generic funk, lemon zest notes, alcohol hints, some woody notes and a hint of grass and barnyard in the flavor. Lasting finish. A bit alcoholic, else really nice. Complex and tasteful. 220317
