Bottle, courtesy of Cunningham. A hazy deep golden to amber colored beer topped by a finger-thick off-white head. Nice curtains. The aroma has a good dash of maltyness, borderline licorice and roasted malts, with some dark dried fruits and pine cones. Orange zest too. It's medium to full-bodied and quite dry on the palate, with a decent bitterness. Pine cones, resin, grapefruit zest, bready malts and a touch of roasted malts and dark dried fruits in the flavor. Medium length finish. A decent one indeed, but too malty for me, at least as an IPA. 220203

Foggy caramel color in the glass. A small tan layer on top Ok intensity in the aroma. Carmel, resin and hoppy Quite ok Moderate sweetness and a decent bitterness. Semi dry ending A quite mellow carbonation level. Easy to drink. Caramel malt, some grapefruit hops, resinous and fruity flavor Quite ok character for a beer at this level. Nice first try from this small brewery. The story about how I got the bottle is even more funny. Maybe someone read this one day and maybe get curious….. [Bottle from the lady in the café…….]
