Bottle, 75cl, at Nærbø Ølfestival. A black one, topped by a finger-thick beige head leaving some lacing. The aroma has some caramel, with roasted malts and a hint of chocolate, licorice and some burnt malts. It's full-bodied, lightly warming and silky on the palate, pleasant carbonation level, and a decent amount of caramel sweetness. Roasted malts, coffee, some dark chocolate hints, some licorice and a piney hoppyness as well as a decent bitterness. Everlasting finish. A delicious quite classic and not too sweet Imperial Stout. 191005

Black with a brown head - Dark malt with chocolate aroma - Malt body with roasted notes with hints of coffee and chocolate with a bitter end - The dark malt flavours goes into the finish that goes bitter in the end - This was good

750 ml bottle, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 9.0%. Pitch black colour, moderate and lasting brown head. Aroma of roast malts, chocolate and mild coffee. The flavour is medium sweet, with distinct notes of chocolate, roast malts and coffee, also distinct and earthy bittering hops. Good beer.

ØLfestivalen Nærbø 2019. Black color with a tan head. Aroma is burnt, roasted malt, licorice. Flavor is burnt, roasted malt, licorice, coffee, chocolate, spices, yeast. Very nice beer.

Svart med lys brunt skum. Lukter kaffe mocca. Middels+ i fylde. Smaker kaffe, salt lakris og melasse. Middels lang salt avslutning. (Grünerløkka mikribryggfestival 2019).

Notater fra en kjempehyggelig dag på ølfestivalen på Nibbe, okt-19: brunsvart med kort skum. Tørr, smaksrik og overbevisende. Mørkbrent dessertkaffe, solbær, mørke karamellsjokolader og diskrete urter. Delikat bitterhed, solid kropp og mersmag i lange baner. De engelske humlene er brukt med conduite, så dette er en lekker og balansert drikke. Servert fra flaske.
