On tap at the brewpub. It's a lightly foggy one, golden in color, with a creamy, finger-thick off-white head. Some curtains. The aroma is biscuity and bready, with some caramel and a generic fruityness. It's medium to full-bodied, quite dry and pleasantly carbonated, with a mostly malty flavor. Bread, some light roasted malts and a good biscuity element, along with some generic hoppy fruityness. Fruity finish with an underlying maltyness. An easy drinkable and quite tasteful one, but a bit forgettable. 191004

Brix Brygghus 041019. Deep golden color with an off-white head. Aroma is caramel, pine, grapefruit. Flavor is pine, grapefruit, caramel, bread, fruit, spices, toffee. Ordinary beer.

Vi (dvs Gunnar, Holmen2 og jeg) går planken på Brix Brygghus som oppvarming til kveldens RBHD-samling hos Bryne: nesten helt klar kobbergylden med flott skum ned til siste dråpe. Urter, våt barskog og mørk toffee. En fin esb med distinkt mersmak.

From tap at Brix Brygghus with RB/HD 25.10.19. Cloudy dark straw colour. Dense and persistent head and lacing. Moderate aroma of hops and brittle. Fine, but still moderate, taste of medium roasted malt and hops. Hop bitterness is lingering on.

On tap @ Melkebaren. Slightly unclear, nice deep golden body with a medium sized, dense, lacing white head. Slightly unpleasant aroma of cooked vegetables and something harsh. Flavor is harsh and unpleasant with cooked vegetables, popcorn and rotten fruit. Medium body and the same unpleasant aftertaste. Something got to be wrong here, this is the third Brix beer on tap tonight and all of them seems to be off somehow bit this was the definitive worst of them.
