Tap @ Patricks. Almost black body with a good locking, medium sized, dense tan head. Aroma has dark malt and distinct aquavit flavor, not the spicy type but the boozy kind of aquavit in a positive meaning. Flavor is sweet, dark malt, mild roasted, smooth, mild roast, dry fruit almost in the background from the aquavit flavor. Don’t really know how to describe this, the beer is OK but kinda discreet and gain a lot out of the aquavit flavor. Fine body and pleasant aftertaste.

On tap at Cafe Sara. It's almost black in the glass, with a creamy light tan head leaving lacing. The aroma has roasted malts, chocolate and some coffee notes, lots of aquavit and a good dash of caramel sauce. It's full-bodied and lightly warming, guess the aquavit does more to that feeling than the alcohol itself, smooth and nicely carbonated, with a good sweetness. It feels almost pastry stout-ish in the flavor due to the sweetness and all the chocolatey, roasted malt flavors. Some coffee and heavy caramel sauce, as well as a lightly spiced booze touch. Super-long finish. A delicious beer indeed, sure one of the best from Balder. 190608
