YG 011021. Pale red color with no head. Aroma is apples, red current. Flavor is apples, red current, sulphur, alcohol, citrus, spices. OKL cider.

Bottle, 75cl. 2020 vintage, 8% ABV. It pours a clear pinkish golden body with a minimalistic carbonation and some rapidly disappearing white bubbles. The aroma is surprisingly neutral, with redcurrant more or less overpowering the little apple scent there is. Some hints of cellar and old oak vat chime in. It's lightly warming, full-bodied and with a very fine and gentle carbonation. Mostly on the dry side, lightly tart-ish, with flavors of redcurrant, apple pie and apple. A touch of something spiced, cinnamon-ish show up in the very end. Wonder how much redcurrant it takes to mask the apple aroma and flavor this thoroughly. Sort of easy drinkable and tasteful, but in small quantities only. 211001

Aroma is slightly sweet concentrated sour-ish boozy, red berries juice, booze, grass, minerals, bark, hay, berry skin, weeds, apple cores. Taste is sweet sour-ish boozy, concentrated red berries juice, booze, berry skin, bark, grass, apple cores, red berries syrup. Medium bitterness, sweet sour-ish boozy mouthfeel. Just don't make it this strong!

Bottle. Clear reddish pink body with sediments, practically no head. Aroma has fruit and slightly acidic red berries. Taste is nice and refreshing with a fine combination of sweet fruit and acidic berries. Apples is not particular recognised, more like generic fruit, but the currant is more distinct and makes a fine complement. Fine balanced body as well and same refreshing fruity aftertaste. Nice as a summer refreshment in the garden.

750 ml clear screwcap bottle, from the cidery. Apple cider with redcurrants added, otherwise no other additives (except sugar). Produced in 2018. ABV is 12%. Rosé colour, hardly any carbonation. Aroma of decaying fruits, ammonium and over-ripe redcurrants. Flavour of decaying fruits and berries, some sweetness. Not good.
