330 ml bottle, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 11.4%. Moderately hazy reddish brown colour, no head. Aroma of fusel alcohols, molasses, oak and mediocre whiskey, a hint of vomit. Very moderate carbonation. Very oaky / woody and alcoholic flavour, not very sweet, with an unexpected sharp and unpleasant bitterness in the finish, totally unbalanced. Whatever they have been trying to accomplish here, it is very poorly executed. Drainpour - what a waste of money!

Bottle. Clear amber body with almost no head. Nice aroma of malt, dry fruit, wood and warming alcohol. Taste is sweet and smooth with malt, caramel, dry fruit, some wood and mild, pleasant alcohol. Fine body and long lasting aftertaste. Very nice BW.

Bottle 330ml @ gunnfryd
Pours deep reddish brown with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel, dried fruits and alcohol. Taste is medium to heavy sweet and light bitter with a long caramel and dried fruity finish. Body is full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Bottle, courtesy of gunnfryd. An oily, headless beer, deep amber to chestnut in color. The aroma has lots of caramel and dried fruits, with alcohol, bread crust and some hints of oak and vanilla. It's full-bodied, warming and oily on the palate, sort of sticky, with a decent bitterness. Mostly on the sugary sweet side though, the bitterness just prevent it from feeling cloying. Caramel, booze, dark bread, brown sugar, dark dried fruits, some oak, vanilla and pine cones in the flavor. Rather boozy, sugary finish. Far from bad this one. Wouldn't mind more complexity and some carbonation, and a bit less boozyness though. 210824
