On tap at Håndverksølfestivalen. An oily pour reveals a more or less black beer. Some light tan bubbles on top. The aroma has lots of caramel sauce, with some dark chocolate, a good dash of cocoa, a touch of brown sugar and vanilla. The tonka beans were quite subdued, and the alcohol dangerously well hidden. It's really sweet on the palate, full-bodied and with some alcohol warmth, softly carbonated, with flavors of caramel sauce, brown sugar, coffee, some vanilla and dark chocolate, hints of tonka and alcohol and then some more sweetness. Everlasting finish. A bit sweet, and even though it was well hidden, a bit too high in ABV, but it was delicious anyway. 190608

Can. Black body with almost no head, just a thin beige layer. Strong aroma of dark malt, licorices, chocolate, cocoa, vanilla and tonka beans. Taste is sweet and boozy in a fine way, lots of dark malt, chocolate, vanilla and definitively tonka. Fine body and long lasting aftertaste with distinct tonka flavor.

Black with a brown head - Dark malt, choclate and some coffee notes in the aroma - Dark malt body with coffee and chocolate, with some alcohol heat - The dark malt with some bitterness, coffee and choclate goes into the finish with some alcohol heat - This was good.

Lovely powerful impy. Solid evening sipper.
Raven dark stuff with a solid beige head. Good intensity in the aroma. Full body and a mellow carbonation level. Oily texture. Coffee, chocolate, roast, molasses and vanilla. Well masked alcohol. Dangerous stuff.
