Forholdsvis pålitelige notater fra Jæren Ølfestival 2021: klar rødlig med ok skum. Deilig maltsmak med hint av urter, rosiner og lynghonning, forsiktig krydret og like forsiktig humlet. Overraskende lite aroma. 0,5 flasker fra VP Steinkjær.

Bottle. It’s a clear amber-brown beer with a small off-white head. The aroma is a bit weak, with dark dried fruits, raisin and prune, caramel, bread and a touch of roasted malts. It’s medium bodied, semi-sweet and with a fruity hint. It’s medium bodied, semi-dry, with a pleasant carbonation. Roasted malts, raisin, prune, toffee, some chocolate and some overripe fruit in the flavor. Medium length finish. A quite tasteful one, and easy drinkable. 210813

Nice slightly bubbly-creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly sweet grainy, weeds, hay, minerals, grain, soil, sap, caramel malts, leafs, bark, paper, flowers, toast. Taste is slightly dry sour-ish grainy, weeds, sour grass, soil, bark, sap, sour caramel, minerals, paper, harsh hops, grain, old wash cloth. Medium to longlasting bitterness, dry and harsh mineraly mouthfeel. Not my cup of tea.
