Forholdsvis pålitelige notater fra Jæren Ølfestival 2021: nesten helt klar lys gylden med fint skum som varer. Jeg kjenner ikke grapefrukt her, derimot karameller, tropiske frukter og litt høy/stall. Mild bitterhed i afslutningen. 0,5 flasker fra bryggeriet.

Bottle. It’s a very lightly hazy pale golden colored body under a small, dense, white head. Some lacing. The aroma has a good dash of banana, some higher alcohol, a spiced touch, some bread and a perfumed hint. It’s medium bodied and softly carbonated, with a strange warming alcohol touch. Pale malts, bread, higher alcohol and banana in the flavor, with spiced hints and some lemon. Medium length finish. Rather boring and uninteresting this one. Not really good either. 210813

I visited this friendly farm brewhouse on the 17th of July 2021, the day before my flight to Berlin, and was welcomed by Kjetil, the brewmaster, and his wife Guri. This is the second commercial available beer they have brewed. The colour of the beer is pale orange amber, with white head and lacing. The aroma is fruity, with pale malts and very evident wheat and fruity Belgian yeast. It is competently brewed, with no off-tastes. Personally, I am not too fond of fruity saisons, but I am sure that this is the style of Saison that my friend @Holmen1 would love.
