Jæren Hotel shared by ChrisOfstad 140821. Dark brown color with a beige head. Aroma is roasted maalt, coffee, chocolate. Flavor is cocos, roasted malt, vanilla, spices, bourbon. Nice beer.

Aaahhhh oh yeah But I am suspicious. Sold as 4,7%....but I quess it is far more Black pour and a big beige head Unusual mild aroma Balanced sweetness and a bit to high carbonation level Some shaking and the carbonation level is ok Some spices, myrthle, chocolate, fruity and cardamom in the flavor Fine complexity [Bottle – bought at source (Høvleriet in Haugesund, Norway)]

Bottle, courtesy of Cunningham. A dark reddish brown, borderline black, beer with a nice dark beige head. Some lacing. The aroma is quite spiced, with licorice, caused by star anise I guess, some roasted malts, dark rye bread notes, dark toffee, some raisin and dried figs, and a touch of orange and coffee. Some burnt notes too, in the far back. It's medium bodied, nicely carbonated and with a nice sweetness. More on the dry than the sweet side though. Some bitterness too. Roasted malts, charcoal hints, raisin, star anise, some cardamom, orange and coffee, and a treacle touch growing stronger in the finish. Perhaps a bit spiced this one, but it works in a way. Shared bottle. Black colour, tan head. Nice spicy aroma. Very spicy flavour (Christmas spices), some sweetness, moderate hops. Okay.

Julekrydder, pors, granskudd og appelsinskall. Deilig duft og kompleks, innsmigrende og balansert smak med god dybde og deilig, mørk ettersmak. Krydder, spanske appelsiner, kongerøkelse, syrligfriske urter og dessertchokolader. 4,7% iflg etiketten.
