Bottle# 3390/3700. A dark beige beer, a head is almost medium and beige. Aroma has strenght of maltyness, bourbon, caramel, light roastiness. Taste has balanced and caramelly body, roastiness, bourbon, barrel, even earthyness of peat. Full bodied, not stickyness. Pretty delicious, strong barreling, but it's nicely balanced.

Bottle 330ml @ home. Pours dark brown with a beige to tan head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel, dried fruits, oak and vanilla. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter with a long warm, malty, dried fruity, vanilla and oak finish. Body is full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Bottle. A dark brown beer, seemingly unclear, with a dense dark beige head of moderate size. It's quite alcoholic on the nose, warming actually, with lots of bourbon. Booze, coconut, oak, vanilla and a chemical touch reminiscent of ammonia. Chemical in an interesting and not disturbing way though. Roasted malts, toffee, dark bread crust, hints of licorice and dark chocolate, some prune and raisin, and a wee spiced, peppery hint. It's full-bodied, sweet, warming and very pleasanty carbonated. Flavorwise it's pretty much like the aroma, at least the same elements, but there's more focus on the dark dried fruit, and the bourbon barrel related flavors are mellower, more balanced and not taking as much space as in the aroma. Spiced, brown sugary flavor more reminiscent of rum than bourbon, dark chocolate hints, licorice and some bready hints too. Not much hoppiness detected neither in aroma nor in flavor, but there must be a decent amount, else the beer would feel way too sweet. Everlasting finish with the same profile as the initial flavor, except some bitterness showing up in the very end. A really delicious beer indeed, could easily be shared but it was wonderful to have almost all of the bottle on my own. Sure a beer I would like to repeat. 231010

Really nice taste, sweet ans smooth with lots of flavors. Pleasant roasted dark malt, caramel, dry fruit, chocolate, mild oak, mild Bourbon, vanilla, balanced bitterness and warming alcohol. Full bodied with a long lasting, warming aftertaste. Solid stuff indeed.
