Sampled on draft at Smokin Joes this beer poured a hazy orange-peach color with a small creamy-fluffy white head that lingered and left decent lacing. The aroma was sweet and tangy sugar, grapefruit and tropical fruits. The flavor was sweet and tangy sugar, bitter pine, grapefruit and tropical fruits. A bit boozy. Long finish. Moderately full bodied. Quite nice.

Keg at Babajan, Stockholm. Hazy golden, small head. Sweaty caramelly grapefruit aroma. Sweet with full body and rounded mouthfeel. Caramelly malt. Heavy grapefruity hops. Really bitter finish. Big, aggressive.

Bottle sample at the Beer & Beyond shop. Thanks beerandbeyond. Cloudy yellow. Hoppy aroma, kinda "green" and piney. Flavor has mild malt sweetness, some resin, piney hops and a finish with strong bitterness. Medium-bodied.

650 ml bottle purchased at One Stop Market. Hazy gold/ orange color, thick lasting head in the snifter. Aroma is pine needles upfront, with citrus fruits and weak grass.

Flavor has a layered flavor of hops. Citrus upfront, leading to a large grassiness, pine rounding out the hops flavors in the finish. The malt backbone gives just enough balance that still provides a lingering grassy, pine bitterness. Resin starts to stack up as I sip becoming more bitter. Nice DIPA

22 ounce bottle into tulip glass, bottled on 8/11/2014. Pours slightly hazy deep golden color with a 2 finger dense off white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings around the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of huge grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, mango, peach, lemon zest, orange peel, pine, floral, grass, light caramel, bread, and floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of juicy citrus/tropical hops and moderate malt sweetness; with good strength. Taste of big grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, mango, peach, lemon zest, orange peel, pine, floral, grass, light caramel, bread, and floral/grassy earthiness. Moderate amount of pine/grassy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, mango, peach, lemon/orange zest, pine, light caramel, bread, and floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Damn nice complexity and robustness of juicy citrus/tropical hops and moderate malt sweetness; with a great malt/bitterness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and medium-full bodied; with a very smooth and fairly creamy/sticky mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is an excellent DIPA style! All around great complexity and robustness of big citrus/tropical hops and moderate pale malt balance; and very smooth to drink for the big ABV. A very enjoyable offering.

22oz bomber pours with a bit of a hop hazed copper body that has thin gold hues and supports an off white head. The aroma offers up bold grassiness and resiny pine hops as well as grapefruit juice, pith and a tart tangerine sensation. The taste starts resiny with pine and grassiness and then it quickly picks up citrusy tart grapefruit and tangerine that have a thick bitter resiny edge. To midway it gets a bit boozy just as slivers of citrus juiciness are noticed amid bruising resiny bitter hoppiness. This seems a bit old school with how grassy and resin with pine it is but over all this gets the job done.

Lucky to find this on tap at bocktown, pleasant surprise dude. Typical contemporary BO smell but in a good way, like the smell after sex after it happened. Clear pale yellow with no haze at all. Bitter strong happy BS fer sure. No real detectable co2. Soapy slick mouth coating green grapefruit resin. However it does not have any of that pine tar thing happening. Not impressed, however, certainly on style. Just a big bitter beery thing here baby. What else can be said?

Golden color. Thin white head. Huge leafy, heady nose with just a whiff of grapefruit. The body is surprisingly light. Heady. Uber quaffable. Nice modestly bitter finish. Just easy drinking 10% beer though without tons of complexity.
