Bottle. 13.4%. It pours a minimalistic dark beige head over a black body. Lots of chunks, from the oats i guess. The aroma has alcohol, roasted malts, cocoa and some coffee, with a pleasant chili touch. Some burnt notes and licorice. Even a hint of herbs. It's full bodied, sweet and warming with a very gentle bitterness. Both chili and alcohol burn. Dark chocolate and cocoa, some roasted malts and chili in the flavor. Hints of licorice, some burnt notes and molasses. Even more cocoa and roasted malts. Rather sweet. Lasting finish. Good thing the alcohol and chili deals with the sweetness, else it would feel cloying. Still a bit too sweet though. Not really sure why but i think this is the best of the three first ones. 230430

Aus der Flasche (Vintage 2021) im 2021-11 getrunken. Diese Stout kommt mit einer ganz dunklenbraunen Schaumkrone und mit einer fast kräftigen Viskosität für ein Bier daher. Der Chilieinfluss hält sich elegant im Hintergrund den deutlichen Aromen von dunkler Schokolade. Am Gaumen hat es ein öliges, cremiges Mundgefühl, wo die Schokolade, die Chili und ein sehr passenden Süsse eine wunderbare Harmonie entwickelt. Traumstoff!
