330ml bottle, #769. Low off-white head fading over a near-clear copper coloured body, scattered lacing. Inviting malty and dried fruity aromas, mid-sweet. Mixed taste profile of toffee, almond, syrup and dried fruits. Long lived, rather sweet ending. Okay sipper on a lazy Sunday eve. (Tromsø, 22.02.2026).

330ml. Vintage 2022. Chestnut brown colour, tiny head. Hoppy, malty nose even metallic. Light to medium-bodied. Toffee, nuttyness, quite heavy on alcohol. Rough after 3 years.

(Barley Wine 2022, limited edition). Amber colour, small head. Aroma is caramel malts, some floral, dried fruity, alcoholic and mild plummy tones. Flavour is alcohol, caramel malts, floral, dried fruits and some plummy tones with mild spices. Quite boozy.

Superficial sample from Gunnfryds ticker party. Slightly unclear golden orange body under a thin, disappearing off-white head. Aroma is sweetish malt and dry fruit. Taste is very sweet malt and dry fruit. Fine body with sweet aftertaste. Way too sweet.

Bottle. It's a hazy dark golden colored beer with a small off-white head. Sweet maltyness, roasted malt hints, toffee, dried fruits, pine cone notes and resin, and some alcohol. It's full-bodied, warming and softly carbonated, with a nice bitterness. Roasted malt notes, toffee, sweet maltyness and some piney, resiny hops in the flavor. Long finish with a good blend of hops and malts. 230422
