Bottle @ the brewpub. Unclear deep amber body under a small, pale beige head. Aroma has roasted malt, coffee, licorices, caramel and honey. Medium sweet taste with roasted malt, coffee, caramel and hint of honey. Fine body with long lasting aftertaste. Nice and smooth grocery strength beer. Fine taste and god balance for this low ABV.

Bottle at the source. Has a dark reddish brown colour with a small light beige head. Aroma of honey, grains and rye bread. Flavour of grains, honey, rye bread and roasted malt. Has a slick mouth feel, light body and a soft bitterness. A little one-dimensional with lots of honey. I miss more of the porter.

Bottle. An unclear dark reddish brown beer with a finger-thick diminishing beige head. Some curtains. The aroma has a pleasant chocolatey maltyness, with nuts, toffee hints and a touch of prune. It's smooth on the palate, quite low on carbonation, lightly sweet, with a malt driven flavor. Chcolate, toffee, nuts and dark dried fruits. Some vague honey notes too. Lasting finish. Quite gentle this one, not very exciting, but considering the ABV it's a fine one indeed. 220907

330 ml bottle, at the brewery hotel. ABV is 4.7%. Deep brown colour, on the border between brown ale, mild ale and porter. Small off-white head. Moderate aroma of malts, caramel and honey. Soft mouthfeel, moderate carbonation. The flavour is malty, but not overly sweet. Hints of caramel and honey again. Very moderate hops. Easy drinking.
