An easy-drinking session beer laced with flavors of orange peel, spice and coriander, take a step back in time and enjoy the first witbier, Celis White.

Bottle. A- Coriander, mild orange, wheat. A- Gold color, clear liquid, white head. T- Coriander, orange, mild white pepper. P- Light body, average texture, average carbonation, balanced finish. O- So very similar to Hoegaarden that it brings back memories of how that beer first got me into craft. Well balanced and even as heartbreaking as it was to know this bottle was 18 months so it still drank pleasantly. Really lovely stuff.

A good turgid pour into the glass and no real aroma. The taste was all about the sweetness and something that I found sickly as I neared the end of the glass. The mouthfeel was ok. This really wasn't for me; beer needs some sort of bitterness otherwise its just an alcopop.

On tap at Celis, pours a hazy blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out coriander and light pillowy wheat. Flavour is loaded with coriander, fluffy wheat, and biscuity malt. Dominated by the coriander - soft floral palate. Solid.
