Bottle, 75cl, at Jæren Ølfestival. 2021 vintage. An almost clear one, almost colorless, just a faint tint of straw color. No bubbles. The aroma has pear and a fruity sourness, almost lemony, with a faint grassy hint. It’s medium bodied and semi-dry, with a pleasant carbonation. Pear, lemon hints and a generic fruityness in the flavor. Medium length finish. A bit too gentle this one, but far from bad. 220813

Shared 750 ml bottle at Bryne tasting, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 5.5%. Very pale straw colour, sparkling. Aroma of pears. Flavour of pears, semi-dry. One-dimensional, needs more pear varieties (including sweet dessert pears and bitter perry pears) to obtain more complexity.

Notater fra en særdeles hyggelig kveld på Jæren Ølfestival 2022: lett uklar blekgul, litt bruseskum. Aroma og smak av pærer, litt clementin/mandarin og pepper. Ble fort kjedelig og fremsto som nokså endimensjonal. Fra 0,75 flaske.

Nice fizzy shortlasting head, slightly cloudy light yellow-ish color. Aroma is slightly dry sour-ish fruity, sorrel, sour pears, hay, minerals, flowers, yeast, grass, fruit stones. Taste is dry sour-ish mineraly, sorrel, unripe sour pears, soda powder, minerals, grass, yeast, fruit stones. Medium bitterness, slightly dry sour-ish fruity mouthfeel. Fair enough.
