Lervig local 120822. Black color with a beige head. Aroma is Roasted malt, burnt, coffee, chocolate, Flavor is roasted malt, burnt, coffee, chocolate, dried fruits.

On tap at Lervig Local. It’s a black one, with a small, dense, beige head. The aroma is burnt, with some bonfire and prune. It’s medium bodied and lightly sweet on the palate, feeling rather flat on the palate, not much carbonation/nitroation going on. Burnt malts, hints of burnt down bonfire and prune in the flavor. Dull finish. Well, actually quite dull all the way. 220812

Black, tan head. Aroma of wet paper and iron. Taste is water and burnt popcorn. Sweet and bland. Carbonation is off, totally dead after a few minutes. Bar staff at Lervig local insists this is the way it is supposed to be.

Notater fra et hyggelig formiddagstreff med KB: nesten helt svvart med flott beige cremeskum, nesten som en veltappet Guinness på pub i Irland. Men smaker bedre - jeg finner kaffe, lys chokolade, litt barskog og hint av eukalyptus. Mild bitterhet og avrundet ettersmak i den halvtørre avslutningen.
