On tap at the brewpub. A finger-thick creamy off-white to white head leaves lacing over a golden colored, lightly foggy body. The aroma has a whiff of diacetyl some bread and caramel, grass and pine cones, but it’s mostly generic fruityness. It’s dry, medium bodied and nicely carbonated, with a good bitterness. Piney and faintly resiny flavor, mostly fruity though, with bread, caramel and a touch of diacetyl. Medium length finish. A pleasant beer mostly, except for the diacetyl. A bit dry or bitter perhaps, but I’m fine with how it is. 220729

Decent refreshing and ok ESB (in my book) after long a bike ride in the mountain Hazed golden in the glass, and a fine head. Fra fat på Finse turisthytte, 5 gentlemen gone beer hunting: klar kobbergylden med flott skum som varer. Et maltdrevet øl med aroma av sommerblomster og fløtekarameller. Men desverre med en heller slapp smak av kokte grønnsaker, med lett floral bitterhet.

Nice creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly sweet yeasty, wet grain, body lotion, yeast, wet grass, wet hay, wet dog, cardboard, hints of butterscotch. Taste is slightly dry grainy, weeds, dried grain, hay, wet grass, paper, minerals, bark, cardboard, flowers, hints of butterscotch. Medium bitterness, slightly harsh mouthfeel. Boring.

From tap at Finsehytta with JMD, OGJ, KH and KSS 07.05.16. Almost clear pale golden. Off-white head and lacing. Sweet pale malt, lemon and lime marmalade and a hint of butterscotch in aroma. Similar taste, with citrus marmalade and citrus zest. Decent drinkability.
