Svart med lys brunt skum. Lukter mørk sjokolade, bourbon og trevirke. Fyldig. Smaker mørk sjokolade, kokos og toffee. Middels lang.

Can from Eltham Wines. Heavy bourbon nose, splash of nuts,toffee, dark chocolate. Thick bourbon flavours, cola, nuts, chocolate cake, oak, touch of coffee. Lots of alcohol heat. Drier than a nun's nether regions. Rich soothing brew.

Can shared at work, courtesy of the Marlobobo crew. Exactly what I said about Golden Tears, minus the vanilla. Considering it's the same base of blend of two beers, it's no surprise is it. This is also salty btw.

Can shared at CBJ. Cheers! Pours black-brown with a small, bubbly tan head. Medium to big sweet flavour with rich dark fruits, a little cocoa, light roast. Full bodied with fine carbonation. Lightly warming finish, more dark fruits, berries. Tasty.

Can. An oily pour reveals a still, headless and quite oily black body. The aroma has some roasted malts and coffee, with booze, alcohol and a spiced, oaked hint. Toffee, dark dried fruit notes, brown sugar and chocolate. It's full-bodied, warming and sweet on the palate, with some tannins and bitterness. Roasted malts, coffee, dark chocolate, toffee and some brown sugar and dark dried fruit in the flavor. Oak and booze, hints of vanilla and coconut. Everlasting finish. Way too sweet this one, and a bit too alcoholic... Still it's a damn good drink. 240821
