Can. Color: Black, light brown head. Aroma: Going back and forth from dark cherries to chocolate to Whiskey. Taste: More balanced than the aroma, fortunately. Blend of roasted malt, sweet dark cherries, chocolate, Whiskey and vanilla notes. Grain. Medium sweet, moderate to over moderate bitterness. Lightly sticky mouthfeel. Over medium body, below average carbonation. Ok.

330ml can, #874, bought at Vinmonopolet Oslo City. Shared with Finn back home. Coal black body, diminishing fawn-coloured head, spotty lacing. Roasted aromas, scent of dark berries and chocolate malts. Quite similar taste of cherries and chocolate malts. Oaky. Lightly roasted malt-berry ending. Fine depth to it. Pleasing Yuletide feel in August.(Tromsø, 30.08.2024).

Can. A almost black one, unclear, with a small dense beige head on top. Curtains. The aroma has roasted malts, dark chocolate and a touch of booze. Hints of tobacco, leather and dark dried fruit. It's smooth and medium bodied, lighlty warming and semi-sweet, with lots of nice flavor. Roasted malts, caramel, dark chocolate, some booze and a touch of dark dried fruit, leather and cigar smoke. Hints of vanilla from the casks. A bit stronger boozyness in the finish. Gentle but nice. 240525
