Small fizzy-creamy mediumlasting head, cloudy deep dark amber color. Aroma is slightly dry roasted, bark, toast, sour-ish roasted grain, minerals, raw licorice, alcohol, leather, soil, burnt rye bread, tobacco. Taste is slightly dry sour-ish roasted, burnt toast, bark, sour-ish roasted grain, raw licorice, soil, tobacco leather, minerals, rye bread. Medium to longlasting bitterness, slightly dry sour-ish roasted mouthfeel. Fair enough.

Tap @ Nødingen. Clear, deep dark brown, almost black body under a fine, dense beige head. Arom has lots of dark, smooth roasted malt, chokolate, coffee and hint of liqurice. Taste is smooth and balnced dark, soft roasted malt, chokolate, coffee, liqurice, hint of dry fruit and balanced bitterness. Fine balanced body, nice, lasting aftertaste. A really nice session porter with quilities from a stronger ABV porter. Impressive.

On tap at Nødingen 080524. Dark brown color with a beige head. Aroma isroasted- burnt malt, coffee. Flavor is coffee, roasted-burnt malt,dried fruit, coffee, pine. Nicebeer.

On tap at Nødingen. A dark brown beer, unclear, with a small off-white head. Quite burnt and roasted aroma, with dark chocolate and a hint of tar and some dark dried fruit hints. It's medium bodied and softly carbonated, with a mostly burnt malts kind of bitterness. Coffee grit, burnt malts, roasted malts, dark, bitter chocolate and some tar and piney hints in the flavor. Long finish. A delicious session porter. 240508
