Superficial tasting at Kristiansand matfestival 2025. Almost clear golden body under a white head. Malty aroma. Taste is sweet, soft malt with some mild bitterness. Surprisingly soft and smooth for a lager at this alcohol strength, no offending alcohol flavor.

Golden colour, small white foamy head. Aroma is fruity flavour and some herbal tones with some milld grainy tones. Flavour is grainy, herbal, floral and some mild earthy some. citrus tones.

Poured clear and golden in color.

330ml can kindly shared by Finn. Stable white head to a clear golden body, spotty lacing. Moderate smell of grainy malts and grass. Mixed, and subdued taste of grassy hops and grain. Mid-dry malt-grassy ending, a bit metallic. Okay, rather unvaried. (Tromsø, 06.12.2024).

YG 210424.. Golden color with a white head. Aroma is alcohol, apple, pine, grapefruit. Flavor is apple, alcohol, pine, grapefruit, fruit, grass, hay. Bitter finish. Ordinary beer.

Shared can at Cardinal, Stavanger. Pours clear golden with white head. Aroma of bread, cookies, notes of floral hops. Tastes slightly sweet with balancing bitterness. Medium bodied, long well balanced aftertaste. This is a good one, but definitely not a pilsner, as the label says, rather a Helles Bock.
