Bottiglia.

On tap @ da Marino, Monfalcone. Served it it's proper glass. A cloudy deep brown-amber beer with a nice medium sized beige head. It has a sweet candy aroma, some strawberries and chocolate paper. It has a almost creamy texture with a really comfortable carbonation level. Flavors are a bit candy sweet, ripe melon-fruity alcohol, almonds and nuts. A little bit mouthdrying in the finish, but this has to be the best I've had so far on my little Italian adventure. 19.05.2012

Another nice ABT beer of the month (somewhere in 2010 I believe). Lovely color and a nice taste, finish and carbonation. Not bad at all.

Tap @ Hazeburg. Slight cloudy orange golden color, medium off-white head. Soft spicy aroma, some caramel malt, slight hop. Soft bitter taste, bit sweet, bit spicy. Typical belgian stuff actually. Not really outspoken, but ok balanced.

On tap at In de Wildeman, beer of the month May in ABT pubs. I’m a bit confused by the name, because this is a clear amber coloured beer, so I put it under Belgian Ale rather than Abbey Dubbel. So: clear amber colour, white head. Aroma is very sweet and spicy, lots of fruity esters, coriander, aniseed, cloying actually. Flavour is very sweet as well, caramel, fruits and lots of spices like coriander again, light tingling bitter and a bit metallic spicy finish. Medium bodied, oily mouthfeel. Very bland and way too sweet.
