440ml can, #254, bought at Vinmonopolet Langnes. Pour an airy pearl white head leaving spotty lacing on the glass. Next-to-clear orange-brownish body. Inviting malt-fruity aromas, dried fruits and brown malts. Mid-sweet, blended taste of apricot, dark fruits, and caramel malts, distant notes of spices. Ends with caramel malts and dried fruits, not overly sweet, noticeable alcohol. Quite alright. (Tromsø, 21.12.2024).

Amber, cloudy with a minimal white head. A caramel, yeast and fruitish aroma. Sweet with a alc, caramel and yeast end.

440 ml can, as Disko Grande Vega Quadrupel, from Vinmonopolet Madla. ABV is 11.0%. Hazy brown colour, moderate head, slightly off-white. Aroma of caramel, alcohol, molasses and brown sugar. Sweet boozy flavour, molasses, fusel, caramel, noticeable bittering hops. Unrefined, far from Trappist quality.

Solsletta 240224. Red golden color with an off-white head. Aroma is yeast, spices, dried fruit, caramel, alcohol. Flavor is yeast, spices, dried fruit, caramel, alcohol. Nice beer.

Can. An almost clear one, deep golden in color, with a small off-white head. The aroma has a light yeasty touch, peppery, with dark dried fruit and some caramel. It’s full-bodied and warming, with a gentle carbonation. Semi-sweet, with a malt driven flavor. Dried fruit, caramel, alcohol and some alcohol in the flavor. Lasting finish. A bit rough, alcoholic and lacking on complexity. Sure drinkable though. 2311245
