Do you find the experiments of the Craft Breweries boring and similar? We have an unexpected combination that, in the final result, surprises you not only with the idea, but also with its pleasant taste qualities. This beer starts its journey as a standard sour fermented with lactic acid culture. In the secondary fermentation, pickles and their marinade are added to this ale.
The golden straw colour of this beer is reminiscent of traditional sours. The aroma is complex, combining fruity acidity and the unexpected freshness of the pickles with a light hint of vinegar and spices.
Taste is the main trump card of this product. The malt balances the tartness, resulting in a sweet and sour ale that combines not only the fruity, lemony profile of the lactic fermentation, but also the flavours of the pickle and the cucumber, and the complementary spices of coriander, mustard seeds and a minimal amount of chalapeño pepper. All the flavours come together perfectly to paint an unexpected but very balanced canvas of flavour.
This ale is not just an opportunity to taste something unusual or simply an experiment for the sake of experimenting. Sour beer and cucumber combinations are gaining popularity on the global market because of their unexpectedly pleasant flavour characteristics and the surprise factor.

Ingredients: water, barley and wheat malts, pickles, salt, coriander and mustard seeds, chalapeño peppers, hops, yeast.

Can 33 cl. Pours an almost clear yellow with a greenish tint and no head whatsoever. Aroma of lactic tartness with a hint of gurken. Medium body, a lightly sweet fruitiness, tart and lightly salty cucumber notes. An odd creation indeed. 030226

CBH WS 2025. Golden coloiur with a small white foamy head. Aroma is pickled cucumber with some mild floral tones to it. Flavour is just pickled cucumber more or less. Would most likely be better when enjoyed with some food...

Keg at MBCC 2024. Pours clear gold with a smidge of white foam. Aroma: light sour, vinegar hints, cucumber, dill. Taste: Light sharp, some sweetness, pickle juice, cucumber, dill. Light to medium body with low carbonation. I liked this, very reminiscent of the pickleback.
