Gravity cask at Pigs Ear 2022 - day 1. Pours deep brown with a small, foamy off-white head. Lightly sweet with notes of burnt rubber, vague cocoa, old dark fruits, earth. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Earthy bitterness to finish, rubber, ash. Not that great.

Cask-conditioned, at the Royal Oak, Oldfield Park, Bath 21/9/2019. Near black in colour, with a thin, off-white, head. A sweetish stout, with some coffee notes, plenty of toasty character, plain chocolate and a dryish finish. Enjoyable.
