440ml can from Left Field Beer, Solihull. Poured a clear almost black colour with a very short-lived, fizzy tan head. The aroma is big roasty malt, chocolate. The flavour is strong sweet, light liquorice bitter, with a smooth, slightly oily, roasty, chocolate, liquorice, maple syrup, light sweet vanilla, warm, boozy alcohol bitter palate. Full bodied with very lively initial carbonation. Needs air for the flavours to come through.

Can thanks to my bro. It pours like motor oil, darkest brown to black with a dark tan lacing. The aroma is rich roasted malt, bitter - sweet, charred vibes, umami, dark chocolate, vanilla, maple syrup, vanilla, chocolate gateaux, Tonka beans, rock road and milky coffee. The taste is slick, oily, bitter - sweet, rich roasted malt, charred, dark chocolate torte, dark chocolate covered coffee bean, maple glazed donut, vanilla, cake batter, spice, warming booze, jammy, marmalade and rocky road with a slick, thick finish. Fulsome body, supportive carbonation and oily mouth feel. Strikes a nice balance. Moreish.
