Tap at Winter Affair '25, brief notes. Excellent beer, with all of the special flavourings distinctly present - sour cherries, butter toffee and barrel (frederiksdal cherry wine BA). Well done!

Tap at Winter Affair 2025. Black body, off-white head. Dried cherry, alcohol, chocolate, caramel in the slightly dusty aroma, lovely. Nice, soft taste, well integrated cherry, caramelly, barrel touches that grow, very well hidden alcohol, bitterish. The barrel overruled everything else, but that's a good thing here, subdued, but so well integrated, easy drinking almost. Respect!

Sampled @ Billie's Craft Beer Fest 2024, Friday. A black beer, no head. Aroma and Taste of wood, bourbon, toffee, dark fruits, raspberries.

Sample at Billie's Craft Beer Fest, Antwerp 2024-11-08. Black with aroma of roasted malt, vanilla and cherry. Medium to very sweet and medium bitter. Finish is mild and pretty hard to find the cherry.

22/8/2024. Tap at Blind Tiger, Peterborough. Pours black with a small tan coloured head. Aroma is rich chocolate, boozy, dark malts, dark fruits, cherry, treacle, nut. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness. Quite full bodied, low carbonation. Good finisher on the way to the station after a day at the beer festival.

Tap at the blind tiger Peterborough. Thick black with a slim head. Aroma and taste are malty chocolate with tart cherry. Love the combo. Slight hints of boozy. Rich body.
