Introducing Fruits of the Forest White Chocolate Banana Crumble, an evolution of our Fruits of the Forest series and the UK’s highest rated pastry sour in 2023, brewed in collaboration with State of Kind to celebrate our 6th birthday. With intense aromas of jammy mixed berries and creamy white chocolate, this extravagant smoothie sour is complemented by subtle hints of cinnamon pastry spice among smooth vanilla and banana for a flavour that’s sweet, complex and moreish.

440ml can. Opaque dirty reddy brown, off-white head. Aroma of jammy berries, chocolate, vanilla. Taste of jammy berries, mostly strawberry and raspberry, very sweet, chocolate, vanilla, somehow is actually quite sour. Full bodied, creamy. They forgot the banana and the cinnamon, both of which should be fairly strong flavours; missed the brief then, but to be fair it tastes really good.

Rødoransje tåkete med beige skum. Lukter bringebær, rips og hvit sjokolade. Middels fylde. Fruktig og noe sur. Smaker bringebær, rips, noe vanilje, hvit sjokolade og noe kanel. Middels lang. (Oslo BrewFest 2024)

Keg at the Gidea Park Tap Room. Hazy pink grapefruit colour beer, small bubbly pale peach colour head. Light palate, semi dry, good fine minerally carbonation. Light smooth malts, the modest creamy sweetness doesn't do much to compensate for a acetic acid kick. Cool pine in to fairly strong vanilla and berries. I didn't really notice the banana but I was 8 pints down by now. Impressively punchy but too sharp for me to want to drink much of.
