0,15l from tap at Peders, Copenhagen. Black color, small very dark coffee colored head. Smells soy sauce, whisky, boozy, spices, peppery. Decent smell. Full body, light carbonation. Tastes spices, some sweetness, soy sauce, peppery, some vanilla, whisky. Finishes medium sweet with notes of soy sauce, whisky and vanilla. Overall decent to good one. Rather sweet, bit heavy on the soy sauce, flavors are a bit all over the place. Barrel is rather in the background. Overall good, expected quite a bit better though.

Sampled @ Billie's Craft Beer Fest 2024, Friday. A black beer, beige lacing. Aroma and Taste of roasted dark malt, chocolate, Bourbon, vanilla, creamy mouthfeel.

Keg at Tilt, Brummy vice Cotts Bimble, 03/08/24. Black with a lasting khaki head. Nose is rich roast, molasses, spice, booze, honeycomb, dark fruit rinds. Taste comprises molasses, light smoke, brown sugar melt, honeycomb, booze hit, toffee, chocolate, fruit cake, spice. Full bodied, sticky oily feel, semi drying close with a spike of alcohol. Decent impy but far from top drawer ... not getting much in the way of barrel on this one ... never quite understood the Emperor's hype if I'm honest!

Tap at the brewery taproom barrow store, cotts mini day out. A big dark oily black coloured pour with a halo fo dark tan head. Aroma is semi sweet, oily, boozy, woody. Boozy, chewy. Palate is chewy, oily, sticky sweet, alcohol. Flavour is composed of medium sweet, sticky, brown sugars oily, boozy fruit,. Super rich, spicy. Sticky. Cloying.
