440ml can. Pours almost black with a thin tan head. Aroma of chocolate, caramel. Taste is sweet, chocolate, caramel, vanilla, milky coffee, touch of liquorice and a little bitterness at the end. Medium bodied, perhaps a little fizzier than it needed to be.

440ml can from Left Field Beer, Solihull. Poured almost black in colour with a very short-lived, fizzy tan head. The aroma is roasty malt, chocolate. The flavour is moderate sweet, with a slightly watery, dry, roasty, chocolate, earthy, liquorice bitter palate. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation.

Black beer, thin head fizzles down to a film. Smells of chocolate. Flavour has milk chocolate, slightly toasty malt, a little caramel. The malt is the throughline and carries this, with the chocolate and caramel.limgering but not overpowering anything. Solid stout.
