Bottle shared during the London Bimble - many thanks to Bruce! Pours clear burnished gold with a white foam capping. A little bit leafy, with nips of toasted caramel, dry bread, some bitter earth. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Finishes with further leafy hops and lightly toasted malts. Perhaps not at its freshest. Just OK.

On tap @ Henrik. Looks quite elegant with a deep amber brown colored body, cloudy and a nice lasting and lacing light beige head. On the nose I get a fair amount of butter. Caramel butter with lots and lots of ripe red fruits. It tastes surprisingly nice. Quite grassy and hoppy, but it tastes more like an amber of some sort than an IPA. A gentle oily gliding mouthfeel and a average almost creamy growing carbonation level. Drys my mouth in a slightly astringent way. Nice balance in almost every way, but it has that buttery touch I the flavor as well. The glass went away quite quickly, so it wasn't all that bad this. 06.06.2014

330ml bottle. Slightly cloudy, reddish amber colour with huge, fluffy, forthy, fully lasting, moderately lacing, off-white head. Piney, resinous, herbal hoppy aroma, sweet-ish caramel malty background, a touch of rosemary and honey, some mandarine and orange zest. Taste is dry hoppy, piney, minimally sweaty resinous, some spruce, slightly fruity, a touch of grapefruit, blood orange, orange zest; bitter, minimally papery finish. Very promising outwardness and aroma, in the end slightly unfulfilled expectations, a bit light bodied and watery. Very good try on this resinous, piney, slightly earthy IPA approach.

Orangish colour with a creamy and frothy off-white head with nice lacework and goo retention. Aroma has citrus notes, some tangerine with light caramel. Flavor is slightly sweet at the beginning, citrus and tropical fruits on palate, mild bitterness with a fresh hoppy sensation. Very fruity final with some caramel notes and mild bitterness.

Draft. An amber beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of spicy hops, exotic fruits, and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of caramel, dust, spicy hops, and exotic fruits, leading to a bitter finish.
