Pint from the Cask at The Lamplighter, St Helier, Jersey. Pours clear amber with a white head. Aromas & tastes of grapefruit, citrus, tea & hops. Medium body. Dry light bitter finish. Enjoyable

Might be a special charity edition in collaboration with The Crown at Bray. Hazy yellow/orange pour with a small white head. Aromas of orange, mango, grapefruit. Taste adds some malt, bread, herbs. Note bad.

Pours a clear orange gold colour with a small frothy white head. The aroma is citrusy, oranges and light marmalade. A moderately sweet and fruity taste, light biscuit malts and orange flavours with some citrus hop bitterness and a light drying finish. A bit watery and average.

31/5/2024. From cask at the 37th Colchester Real Ale and Cider Festival. Pours clear dark orange amber with a small bubbly off-white head. Aroma is hoppy, citrus, orange, marmalade, malt, slight musty edge. Moderate sweetness and body, medium bitterness. Average to soft carbonation. Dry fruity finish. Not bad.

Cask at the White Horse, Lincoln. Deep golden colour with a white head. Aroma and taste are malty and citrus sweet. Light body.

[Cask at the Greyfriar, Reading. ] A pale amber pour with a ring of white head; orange aroma; biscuity body and an orange taste; then a fruity bitterness to finish. Rather ordinary.

Cask at the flying horse. Gatwick. A clear golden orange coloured pour with a a lasting fluffy white head. Aroma is tangy leaft citrus, hedgerow, rustic grains. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, nutty toffee malts, grassy hop, firm grassy hop bitterness. Plaalts is soft, good condition. Faint fizz in the finish. Decent.
