In this edition we’ve used a new hop to us in the form of New Zealand Nectaron, We’re getting loads of passionfruit, apricot, peach & tangerine from this hop variety, alongside a little dankness that isnt unwelcome.

We’ve also changed our house yeast blend to add more fruity esters, alongside a smooth creamier mouthfeel.

440ml can from Left Field Beer and shared in Kuala Lumpur. Poured a hazy golden orange colour with a thin broken white head. The aroma is grainy light smoky, orange tangerine. The flavour is moderate bitter, with a dry, crisp, light floral, light tart orange citrus, herbal, light smoky aromatic, hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

20th March 2024 Can. Amarillo, Citra, El Dorado. Hazy orange gold beer, good pale cream colour head. Airy palate, decent fine minerally carbonation. Very light fluffy malts, a modest creamy sweetness. Crisp pine and crisp orangey citrus. A light but biting hop spice. Savoury skunk underneath. Some El Dorado Sakura that is almost berry fruit like here. A slightly weird boxy bitterness on the back end that detracts from an otherwise solid dipa.
