Oregon Trilogy Series Special Release.

This is a classically-styled West Coast Red DIPA. Simcoe, Chinook and Columbus hops combine to deliver a resinous profile with a citrus undertone. The bitterness helps to balance the deep caramel of the malts.

Can. Beer Central. Moderate haze on a deep amber. Suds of off white head are lasting and leggy. Nose has bitter marmalade. Burnt caramel. Sappy pine. Toasty malts. Taste is sticky sweet with punchy and sappy orange bitterness. Smooth easy drinking. Doesn’t come across the ABV. Slick bitterness to finish. Understated but classy.

Can, big thanks to my bro! It pours hazy deep red + brown with a decent beige head. The aroma is bitter - sweet, sappy, resinous, some fresh pine, varnished wood, orange marmalade, candied peel, dull toffee and a splash of cherry cola. The taste is firmly dry, pleasing bit hit of bitterness, sappy, resinous, pine needles, leather, pithy, zesty, blood orange, kumquat, marmalade, spicy snap, prickly alcohol presence, touch of toffee and some brown bread with a lingering bitter, sappy finish. Medium body and average carbonation. Absolutely gorgeous. Fresh, punchy bitterness, zesty and resinous.

Can from Against The Grain. Hazy amber body with a thick beige head. Low carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of pine, caramel and orange peel. Flavour of pine and blood orange with a nice bittersweet finish. Medium to full body with a creamy mouthfeel. Soft fizz. A beautifully balanced Red DIPA that drinks as easily as a beer with half the ABV. Loved this. More red IPA/DIPAs please!
