Spotty beige head in a twirling dark brown coloured body. Make, toffee, chocolate & roasted aroma. Medium bodied, smooth with a dry back. Malt, chocolate, coffee, toffee & soy tastes with a lightly salted finish. That's good.

500ml can. Pours almost black with a tan head. Aroma of chocolate, roasted malt, liquorice. Taste has light sweet chocolate malts, roasted malts, liquorice, some mild salinity and umami notes hint towards its nautical nature. Incredibly smooth and creamy body, almost like it's on nitro. Very good.

Can from Westhill Service Station. It pours jet black with a dissipating tan head. The aroma is rich roasted malt, savoury, saline, umami, salted liquorice, cacao nibs, dark chocolate and dark roasted coffee beans. The taste is firmly dry, bitter, dark roasted malt, slightly charred/ashy, umami, salty liquorice, peppery spice, burnt toast, seaside vibes, dark chocolate and coffee grounds with a dark roasted finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Strikes a nice balance. Flavourful and robust.
