24-27/10/2023. From cask at the 45th Norwich Beer Festival. Pours very dark mahogany brown with a small bubbly off-white head. Good looking beer. Aroma of caramel, malt, ash, chocolate, salted caramel. Medium sweetness, light to moderate bitterness. Moderate body, oily, average to soft carbonation. Quite drinkable.

Gravity poured pint in the Halfway House, Pitney (Somerset) on Monday 13th November 2023. Thin tanned head on an almost black body. Dark chocolate and caramel aroma and taste, more sweet than salty.

Cask at the Tiny Tavern, Lincoln. Off black colour with a tan head. Aroma and taste are malty chocolate sweet caramel. Very little if a salt. Smooth sweet body.
