Can. Pours a dark orange colour with a thin white head, plenty of hops and malt in the aroma, the taste was medium bitterness with some sweetness coming through, to a dry bitter finish.

Sample courtesy of Grumbo, cheers Graham! Orangey amber colour, no head and aroma of barley malt, molasses, toffee, caramel, marmalade hint. Taste is sweet, malty, toffee, caramel, molasses, orange note, fruit cake, with booze and tangy bitterness. Medium bodied, low carbonation, drying boozy bitter finish. Nicely drinkable.

Panda at home, thanks to Kenneth, 04/03/24. Almost clear deep golden to amber with a just off white cap that dissipates edgewards. Nose is dusty fruits, caramel, dates, grains, brown sugar sprinkle, dark malts. Taste comprises fruit cake, toffee, figs, caramel, good malt base, light earthy hop strains, dates, parkin cake. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced kiss of alcohol. Old skool life and a pleasant sipper at that.

Can. Just a light haze on this amber beer, small cream colour head. Smooth palate, mildly dry, decent fine carbonation. Smooth caramel malts, a light and semi dry creamy malt. A modest alcohol spice starts to tingle in the mid, but there is no heat here, not for an old soak like me anyway! Fair rich ripe fruits on the back end, rich and smooth. Finishes smooth and semi dry and moderately spicy. A decent barleywine but tastes quite immature to me. This one needs time, I would say 3 years min, just to develop.
