Brewed with Shilling Brewing Co., one of the top venues in Glasgow City to get a fresh pint of Overtone on draft. We were keen to make a slightly unique beer together that's light, crisp and refreshing but still packs a punch with flavours. That my friends, is a Cold IPA. Using a wild combination of hops we've ticked the boxes of tropical, citrus, floral and dank flavours.

Can from Appellation Wines. Appearance - pale yellow and murky. Creamy, white head. Nose - dank, fresh sweat, dry herbs and lemon. Perhaps some pineapple at a stretch. Taste - dank and sweaty again. Lemon and grapefruit, lemon tart and green stalks. Palate - light bodied, dry, zesty finish. Overall - good enough.

Hazy pale blond colour with lacy head. Creamy, wheaty. Fine carbonation. Low bitterness some light pithiness in the finish.

Can from my bro. It pours slightly hazy yellowy - blonde with a thick, fluffy white head. The aroma is fresh, green, weedy, sappy, dank, greengage, white grape, melon, kiwi fruit, perfumed and floury bread. The taste is dry, touch of bitterness, bitter - sweet, green, weedy, dank, melon, ripe greengage, gooseberry, slightly chalky, touch of pineapple, floury bread and just a nip of booze with a drying, green finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Decent cold IPA.

Can from Margiotta. Hazy golden body with an off-white head. No visible carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of cigarette butt and straw. Flavour of peach, lemon cream and white bread. Medium body with a smooth texture. Soft fizz. This didn’t taste like I expected it would, based on other cold IPAs I’ve tried. This was smooth and creamy rather than crisp, lager-like and bitter.

Tap at mad Squirrel watford. A hazed dull brushed gold coloured pour with a loose white head. Aroma is soft wheat, btead, floral, elderflower, midget gems, grass,. Flavour is composed of semi crisp light grains, bread, wheat, lemon rind, mellow tropicals, grassy hop, firm bitterness. Green hop. Palate is crisp, light grainy,, highish carbonation.

Can from RAD at home. Pale golden and slight hazy colour with a white head. Aroma taste are light critters and pine. Light sweet. Light crisp body.
