Can split at the Soapy returns tasting, Mother Arch ii, thanks to Fergus, 27/04/23. Extremely dark mahogany brown with a beige cap that retains well. Nose is toffee, dried fruit rinds, light charr, toffee, mellow roast. Taste comprises roast malts, chocolate biscuit, toffee, ashen nip, dried fruit rinds. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close. Tidy enough porter.

Can. Light haze on this amber brown beer, small pale tan head. Light palate, semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Thin malts, wishy washy dark malts, thin and watery chocolate. Some ripe fruits on the back end. Dry finish. The flavours are not bad but the palate is annoyingly thin and dry.

Rocky off white head on a dark brown body. Woody, conifer & herbal aroma. Medium bodied, smooth with a sharp back. Malt, chocolate, pine, citrus peel & lemon with a hoppy finish. Tastes more like a Cascadian IPA than a Porter - very good though.
