Keg @ Station Hop, Levenshulme. Black with an off-white head. Dark malty brew in design, but its cherry dominates its taste (although not so much aroma), so negates to an extent this. It's flavoursome though.

Cask at Smithfield, Derby. Pours a very dark reddish-brown with minimal cream head, The aroma is mainly cherries with hints of red wine gums. In the mouth its roast malts to the fore at the start, quickly turning to cherries, cola and hints of vanilla. Overall it’s slightly sweet with a creamy texture. Finish has a vague general fruitiness. Not bad – but not wildly exciting.

Can on the train from New Street to Burton, thanks to Martin, 17/02/23. Light black with a good sized lasting khaki head. Nose is cocoa powder, mellow cherry skins, dark malts, light roast. Taste comprises chocolate, almond, cherry Bakewell, perfume, dark malts. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Not bad ... well balanced and doesn't run too sweet.
