Gravity cask at the 33rd Ealing Beer Festival, 12/07/24. Golden blonde with an off white head. Nose is melon, tangerine, grass, soft malts. Taste comprises orange zest, papaya, citric tinged straw, light breads, floral notes. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close splashed with mellow juicy hop bitterness. Decent enough easy drinking cask IPA.

Cask @ Old Gate, Hebden Bridge. Golden with a thick creamy head. Crisp for its strength, but full textured with understated hoppy tropical fruit.

Gravity cask at the Real Ale Classroom, Stoneygate, Leicester. Reddish brown and very translucent with a thin loose off-white head. Light floral aroma with some pithy grapefruit and red cherry. Sweetness in the taste is countered by a bitterness mid-sip, leading to a drying finish. Oily, flat body. A strangely muted recipe from the usually excellent Black Iris.
